At Eltliam on Saturday a Te Ngutu team was beaten by a decisive margin. The visitors were hospitably entertained by the local men. The results of play, with Eltliam names mentioned first, -were: — J. Stewart and Phillips beat Todd and Betts, 6 and 5. R. McGregor and Roberts beat Luxton and Penny, 4 and 3. Lee and Chrystai lost to Evetts and Meuli, 4 and 3. Free and Yalintine beat Struthers and Barclay, 2 up. Wvlds and Hill all square with. Linn and Crawford. Jones and Fallows beat C. Evetts and J. Barclay, 4 and 3. Gill and Muslin beat Harris and Meuli, 2 up. Diver and T. Gibson beat Treweek and Robertson, 4 and 2. ELTHAM CLUB. CASEY TROPHY TO ROBERTS. In the Elthain Golf Club’s competition for Mr A. O. Casey’s trophy, tne winner was C. Roberts, -who had a nett 137, with a handicap of 22, over 36 holes. The Lest scores were as follow, -with handicap in parentheses:—
