FINAL OF EUCIIRE SERIES. (From Our Own Correspondent.) The final euchre social iind dance of the season’s series hold in the Whakamara Hall drew a good attendance. Points prize winners for the season were decided, Mrs Skevington taking the ladies’ points prize and Mr Newton Barkla that for the men plavers. (SURPRISE AFTERNOON. A surprise party, consisting of the cast of “The Bride,” visited the homo of Mrs H. R. Scott last week. Mrs Lc Fleming, on behalf of the visitors, presented iMrs Scott, the producer of “The Bride,” with a small gift, which all hoped would remind her of the very happy times they had spent while working together. Mrs Scott suitably replied.
