POSSIBLE N.Z. VISIT. (By TelegrapU—Press Association.) WELLINGTON. Aug. 23. It was formally intimated at a meeting the New Zealand Rowing Council to-night that the New South Wales association might be favourably disposed toward an invitation for a visit to New Zealand by its eight-oared crew and sculling champion durinjr the forthcoming season. Members of the council were unanimous that such a visit was desirable and it wa.s decided to circularise local associations informing them of the position.
