CHURCH ANNOUNCEMENTS

Seamer, general superintendent of Missions, will be the speaker at the morning worship at the Hawera Methodist Church to-mor-;row and the Rev.. R. fT. Haddon. • superintendent of Maori Missions will give an address at the evening worship. Mrs.. Airini Weretu, Lr.A.B.. A.T.C.L., will sing “Fear Not, Ye. O Israel.” The services commemorate the 110th anniversary of Methodist New Zealand Missions. Offertories and gifts will be devoted to the niissions A cordial invitation is ,gi' T “n to all: to join in this anniversary. The Rev. E. S. Emmitt will' be at Normanby at 2 p.m. “The Pessimism of the Buddha and the Optimism of Jesus "Christ” will bethe evening theme at the Hawera Baptist Church to-morrow. The morning mediation will be “The Shields of Rife of God’s Providing.” The preacher will be the Rev. John lugs. Strangers and visitors' will be made welcome. .The Sunday" School anniversary is to be celebrated on the following Sunday.
