Mrs Mollison Succeeds

CAPETOWN, Nov. 18.; Mrs J. A. Mollison. formerly. Miss Amv Johnson, beat her husband’s from England to Capetown record by 10 hours- 21- minutes. UTUV .VT Practically unassisted, slie repaired the lubricating fault in the ’plane at Benguella to which place she returned after the trouble developed. She resumed the Hight at 4.20, having l-ost nine hours. She rested,for three hours at Mossamedes and left at 2.50 a.m. on a non-stop flight to Capetown'.' As she circled the aerodrome the crowd broke the barriers and cheered wildly. Mrs Mollison, on alighting, remarked: “111 is- fine to see Capetown again.” She immediately telephoned to her husband in London. She had only five hours.’ sleep during the journey.
