DOMINION GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS OF MORNING ROUND (By Telegraph—Press Association.) TIMARiU, Oct. 13. Overnight rain left the Highfield links ip a slightly heavier state than yesterday for the final of the Dominion women’s cr-olf championship between Mrs J. C. Tern pier (Waimate) and Miss B Rutherford (Hawarden). Keen mto rest avjxs displayed and at the end of "the morning’s play Mrs. Templer was four up. In the early stages of the round Mrs Templer gave a rather indifferent display, while her approach shots, and putting; both proved erratic. Mrs Templer improved and showed fine form to assume a six up lead at the 11th hole.
Miss Rutherford then rallied to win back three holes, but lost the 18t.li, •giving her opponent a lead of four to commence the afternoon round.
