BOXER’S INJURIES FATAL
DEA TH AT WELLING TON. COLLAPSE AFTER BOUT. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Oct. 12. Geoffrey Wilson, who collapsed after competing in the Wellington Boxing Association tournament last night, died in hospital late this afternoon from the effects of head injuries. He did not regain consciousness. Wilson joined the Silverstream Boxing Club some .months ago and had taken part in abolt ten contests. He was regarded as a spirited boxer. He collapsed after a strenuous bantamweight bout with D. Loveridge (Mira 1 mar).
