GENEVA, Oct. 11. The League of Nations Budget committee at the instigation of Mr. W. M. Hughes (Australia) referred the Budget back to the supervisory committee with instructions to effect economies. Despite' pleas made by Sir Thomas IV ilfor d and others to immediately abolish the League’s offices in London, Paris, Berlin and Rome, the committee decided that the supervisory committee should report thereon In 1933.
