CRISIS IN FREE STATE
REQUESTS FOR SETTLEMENT. FARMERS AND RATEPAYERS. (United Press Association—Bv Electrio Telegraph Copyright.? Received 1.50 P.m. to-day. DUBLIN, Sept. 1. Farmers and ratepayers umanimously passed a resolution that the Dail should immediately settle the economic crisis. It was stated that & continuance of the British tariff on livestock would ruin the whole farming community, and it was nrged that every county in the Free State should hold meetings to enable effective measures to be adapted. A farmers’ and ratepayers’ convention will he held on September 14.
