LADIES INTER-OLUB MATCH. In a ladies’ golf match at Hawera this week the home team beat Inglewood by four matches to two. Results, with Inglewood’s players mentioned first, are: Miss Morton and Mrs Grant lost to Mesdames Thomson and Rota, 3 down and 2 to play. Mrs. Winter and Miss Wilson lost to Mesdames Davey and McAnerin, 6 and 4. Miss Mary Morton and Miss McCallum beat Mesdames Gibson and Hunt, 2 and one. Mrs. Adlam and Miss Johnston lost to Mesdames Rudge and Fear on, 1 down. Misses Oorney and Jean Morton beat Mesdames Pickett and Vinnioombe, 3 and 2. Mesdames Mulholland and Far is lost to Mi'ses Murray and Pickett. 2 doivn. An L.G.U. medal round will be played by the Hawera ladies’ club to-moi - row in conjunction with the first qualifying; round of the club championship.
