SYDNEY, May 30. A wild scene was witnessed at Paddington when teams in a'Sunday football match started a fight openly. A thousand spectators swarmed on the field, cheering, screaming and hooting. Partisans in the stands also fought among themselves. When the fight was at its height police arrived and quietened the mob. The ground was cleared and the game finished.

Prior to the fight three men were carried off after the fight another three were removed by ambulance.
