ST. JOHN’S CHURCH
St. John’s Presbyterian Church, at Hawera, will hold the first of the series of week-night meetings in connection with its “special mission,” this evening. - The speakers will he Alessrs E. Glen and L. A. -Taylor and their subjects will be “The Fulfilment or Prophecv concerning Christ,” and “The Implications of the Incarnation.” The choral work will he selections from Handel’s Oratorio, “The Alessiali.’ The soprano recitatives “There were Shepherds,” “And the Angel said unto them.” “and suddenly there was with the Angel,” will he sung by Aliss E Murdoch, and the choir will rendev the chorus “Glory to God in the Hi guest.” Everybody is invited to tnese services, especially non churchgoers.
