After returning to Simla yesterday from Calcutta the Viceroy, Lord W’il 1ingdon, .summoned a meeting of the Executive Council, at which consideration was given to Gandhi’s telegram assuring Lord Willingdon ol his desire to prevent a breakdown ol the Delhi truce and asking for an interview. Ii was later an non need that Gandhi had been invited to visit Simla if he felt there was any misunderstanding which a personal interview might clear. A Bombay message says Gandhi accepted the invitation and left Ahmeda had to-night. lie will he received !<;• the Viceroy on- Tuesday.
