CORRESPONDENCE

GIRL GUIDES

(To the Editor.) Sir, —I have no doubt that you would allow me to publish a rejoinder to “Mere Alan,” but I hold that I am not bound in a controversy like the present one to counter attacks made upon me personally by one who hides behind the ambuscade of anonymity.— I am, etc., L. A. TAYLOR.

[The issue, in this correspondence, is now confined to the points raised by Miss Ballantine on Saturday. We can provide no more space for letters from the public on the subject. This decision does not, of course, prohibit the representatives of official Guide opinion from exercising their right of reply in our columns to Miss Ballantine.—Ed. “Star.”]
