HIGHER DEATH DUTIES
SEARCH FOR REVENUE. (United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright). SYDNEY, March 25. A sharp increase in death duties is provided by the Stamp Duties Amendment Bill introduced in the Assembly. The new duties range from 2 per cent, on estates up to £100,) sterling, to 25 per cent, on £100,600 or over. The present rates on estates exceeding £100,060 is per cent.
