BOWLING
PATEA VISITS PARK. Despite the threatening weather five rinks from the Patea Bowling Club paid a friendly visit to the Park Club’s green at Haw-era yesterday afternoon. Conditions were' adverse to the best of bowling being witnessed as, although the green was in splendid order, it j was rather on tlie slow side. Nevertheless both visitors and hosts- thoroughly enjoyed tlie day and the aggregate left little to spare for Park to win by three points.
