AIEETING OF DELEG ATES (By Telegraph—Press Association.; WANGANUI, March 6. A conference of swimming delegates was held this morning. Timarii was granted the next New Zealand senior championships and Wellington. the junior and intermediate fixture. It was decided that a intermediate girls’ dive and 100 yards intermediate bays’ backstroke championship ho add’d to the junior championships. A resolution was carried to make '•pprosonfation to the Government with v view to empowering local bodies tr make* safety zones at open bathing reorts and authority to enforce local restrictions.
It was resolved to urge the council to make repeated efforts to get, the Government, grant .restored.
