DIVISIONAL, SINGLES PLAY’. CONTESTS: AT HAWERA. The divisional final of the Taranaki singles (bowling champ ion ship was played on tlie Hawera Park green to-day, commencing at 9 o’clock, on the two life system —21 points np. The players were: H. S. Alaslin (Hawera), A. C. Smith (Park), A. Christie (Mamma) and C. Richards (Paten). Messrs S. Adamson and S. Bremford were the official umpires and the games were controlled iby Air E. A. Quin.

Results this morning were:— , First round. —Maslin 21 ‘beat Christie 3; Smith 21 'beat Richards 7. Second round.—Maslin 21 heat Smith 19 Richards 21 'beat Christie 12.
