TASMANIAN FLOODS
j ROADS WASHED AWAY. TOWNSHIP THREATENED. (United Frees Association —By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) Received 12 noon to-day. HOBART, March 4. Heavy rains throughout Tasmania have caused flooding in a number of rivers, interrupting road traffic. Roads in many places are under water. The Ellen dale township is threatened by water from the Jones River and a bridge over the Florentine was washed away. Many others were severely damaged.
