A meeting ol' the Flower Show Cornmil,tee was held on Monday evening, when final arrangements were made in ( iinueotioii with. the. fixture to he held on Friday. .Record entries have been received L>\ the secretary and the .show promises to be the best' yet held in Matapu. Enml(‘s close with tlie secretary, Alis-s Noble, on Wednesday evening. The proceeds from the> show: will lie donated to the earthquake relief fund. An old time dance will be held at an early date. The committee expect a large crowd, as is usual with the Matapu .dances. The .proceeds from that also'will be, given to the relief fund.
