Ait the wool sales to-day the offerings comprised 10,022 bales, of which 9670 bales were sold at auction, also 716 bales sold privately. The average prices of tlie wool auctioned last week was 9.1 d per lb. A very active market prevailed today. Prices ruled from par to- 5 per cent, higher for all descriptions of fleece and skirtings. Good clearances j were effected. Greasy merino made up to 16.! d.
