I li<“ Dunedin and Diomede were to take part in manoeuvres with the Australian fleet off Tasmania, but the ’quake upset the plans. ft is now announced that the cruisers will leave Auckland for Russell next Tuesday. While there Commodore Blake will transfer his flap; to the Diomede and on February 2S the Dunedin will leave Russell for England via Sydney. She will be absent for about one year undergoing a refit.
