GIRL BREAKS EUROPEAN RECORD. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Feb. S. Miss Joyce Cooper, of Kensington-on-Thames, broke the 100 metres European swimming record for women at the international contest held by the Paris Swimmers’ Club yesterday. Her time (was 7'Osec. The previous record, held by Millie. Braun, of Holland, was 71 4-ssec.
