NORMANBY SHOW

Still going strong after 4S years of existence, the Normanby Horticultural Society is holding its annual show this year on February 25. A departure this year is the holding of the show on one day only. This is in the nature of a trial, as it is felt that in the past many patrons wore disappointed at the show., closing down at 4 o’clock on the secoiid day, at the conclusion of the dancing ami sports events, as they were then at leisure to properly view the exhibits. This year the show will remain open until P. 30 in the evening, thus doing away with the concert and dunce, but dancing on the green to the whirl of pipes, and numerous competitions and games provided, will, it is expected, quite compensate for the loss of the concerl, which may be held at a later date.
