FATAL CAR ACCIDENT

MAN PINNED UNDERNEATH (By Telegraph—tress Association.) GISBORNE, Oct. 28. The coroner opened and adjourned after evidence of identification had been taken an inquest concerning the death of Thomas Martin Corcoran, aged 26, married, which occurred yesterday, when the car in which he was a passenger overturned on the main road at Makeraka cemetery after -skidding on some shingle at the corner, deceased’s head being crushed beneath the vehicle. The driver of the car, Eric F. Mac Kay, sustained only slight injury.
