PRESIDENT OUTS’ SALARY

President .Veil Hindenburg has announced that he will voluntarily resign 20 per cent, of his salary from November I without waiting until the law relating to the reduction becomes effective.
The duty on wheat entering. Germany '.ill immediately be increased from 9s 1 to 12s fid per cwt., and on barley ‘' ini 7s fid! to 10s «ne,r cwt.
