SEAPLANE’S FLIGHT
MISHAP AT NEW PLYMOUTH

NEW PLYMOUTH, Sept* 25
The seaplane Cutty Sark left Auckland at 7 a.m. and arrived at New Plymouth at 9 after a good flight. Squad-ron-Leader Isitt, Wing-Commander Grant Dalton and Corporal Smith, a mechanic, were aboard. A good landing was made east of the Newton King wharf.
The seaplane was brought between the wharves and while taking it out to resume the flight to Wellington, a wing touched a wharf pile and was slightly damaged. Repairs are expected to take two hours.
WEATHER. CHANGES PLANS
NEW PLYMOUTH, Sept, 25
Owing; to bad weather, there being heavy rain and a north-west wind, the C'utty Sark will stay the night and return to Auckland in the morning. Wing-Commander Grant-D'alton will go to Wellington by the morning train.
