Cheers greeted the announcement at the League Assembly that definite pu-o-gresis had been made in solving the Eranco-Italian naval disagreement. Sir Thomas is also on six other committees: (1) Constitutional questions; (2) technical and economic; (3) disarmament; (4) finance and budget; (5) health and (social questions; (6) political. There were difficulties regarding disarmament. France was doing . her best to overcome them.
