GAMING HOUSE CHARGE
LAYING OF ODDS ALLEGED. CONCLUSION OF HEARING. (Bv Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Aug. 26. The hearing was concluded to-day in the case in which A. H. Peterson, n bootmaker, aged 36, and Thomas Quinn, a merchant, aged 35, were charged with jointly using premises as a common gaming house, and Peterson further with laying tote odds. Decision was reserved.
