TOKAORA.

EUCHRE PARITY AND DANCE. The last of a series of euchre parties and dances arranged by the committee of the Tokaora Hall was held last night and proVed a great success. The evening’s prizes were won by Airs Jordan and Mrs C. Jackson and by Mr J. La very and Mr F. Mills. The points prizes for the series were won by Mrs C. Jack-son and Air D. Robertson, the prizes being kindly donated by Air IT. B. Taylor (set of carvers) and! Messrs Standish and Jones (fountain pen). Mr S. J. Bennett and Airs S. Thrush have generously promised the prizes tor another euchre party to be held a fortnight hence. Mr S. Thrush, chairman of the committee, congratulated all concerned on the success of the series, good prizes having been given and much interesting play seen, while the attendances had been excellent. He cordially thanked the donors of the prizes for their generosity. Dancing was enjoyed during the evening to music supplied hy Airs Bennett, of Nornianby.
