BIG LONDON THEFT
PORTRAIT AND JEWELLERY
(United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright). Received 11.30 a.m. to-day. LONDON, July 27. The year’s biggest theft from a London mansion is the robbery of Reynolds’ portrait of the first Countess- of Minto, also a string of pearls and other jewellery, of a total value of £32,000, from the house of the Earl of Minto,* in Mayfair.
