ASHBURTON, July 28. James Farr, aged 2-5, single, son of Mrs T. Farr, of Oarnaru, died in hospital on Saturday night as a result of concussion received in a Rugby match between Old Boys and) Mayfield that afternoon. Practically on. the call of time, as Fan- was picking up the ball, his head came into contact with an opposing player’s knee. Deceased, who was assistant Clerk of the Court for the last three years, was captain of Old Boys’ team and l was one of the representatives who toured Otago and Southland last year. e „
