WOMAN STRUCK BY CAR
CORONER’S VERDICT. (I3y Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, July 25. Tliat deceased died from a fractured skulff as the result of being knocked down by a motor car. was the coroner’s verdict in regard to the death of Miss Eimily Rennie Hay, aged 50, at the corner of Boulcott and Willis Streets on July 6. The coroner said that ho was unable to say whether it was deceased or the driver of tliei car (Leonie Cra-y----tliorne) who was not keeping a. proper lookout.
