SOUTH TARANAKI WINTER SHOW, HAWERA

HOME INDUSTRY SECTION. This section of the show which always attracts the keen interest of both sexes and excellent encouragement has been, offered in providing 81 classes. This division of the show includes the following classes: Home-made bread, scones, pastry, and biscuits, cakes, sweets, eggs, jams and; jellies, pickles, and; sauces, home-made wines, butter, home-made soap and particularly, a section for children under 16 years of age. Besides the usual prizes for each class each section has its own points prize of £1 Is, and further there is a special prize for thei most points in tile home industry section, given, by the Winter Show. Every detail is set out in the schedule, a. copy of which can ho obtained; on application to the manager, box 79, Ha-wen-a. Entries close on June 7. The show this year is for seven days and the work in this .section will be exhibited from the opening day, Wednesday. June 25, to July 2 inclusive.
