EUCHRE PARTY

(From Our Own Correspondent.) The weekly euchre party on Tuesday evening; was again well attended and the games keenly contested. The ladies’ prize for the evening fell to Mrs Voullaire, with eight games out of ten played, the "prize being a, hand-painted vase. The men’s prize, a silk scarf, went to* Mr J. A. S.vmes, with eight and a-hftlf games out of ten. Pingpong drew good entries and excellent competition. Miss Symes won the ladies’ prize and Mr 0- Thomson the men’s prize, after a keenly contested final with Mr R. Leonard.
