HUT CRASHES ON LINE

TRAIN PASSENGERS STRUCK THREE SUFFER INJURIES (By Telegraph—Press Association.) GEEYMOUTH, Jan. 20. Muriel Cochrane, of Opbden, and Frank Thomas, of Kotuku, were injured y-esterday- by an accident on an excursion train from Arthur’s Pass to Hokitika. The engine had passed the Teremakqu bridge near Jackson’s when it struck a worker’s hut which was blown on to the line. The hut, in falling, struck the two passengers above named who had their arms hanging over the carriage .windows. Thomas’s left arm was crushed and was 311121013404 this morning in the Grey- Hospital. Miss Cochrane’s left arm was doubly- fractured above the elbow.

Another passenger, Miss F. Brown, is reported to be suffering from a fractured wrist.
