WAVERLEY.
ANNUAL BOWLING MATCH. Five rinks from Wanganui Bowling Club visited Wavorley to compete in the annual inter-club contest. Games were played both in the morning and in the afternoon, -the Wanganui Club being successful in both sessions. The scores were: Morning, Wavorley 108, Wanganui 121 ; afternoon. Wavorley lot!. Wanganui 117. PERSONAL. .Mrs Taylor, of Auckland, and .her son. Dr. Claude Taylor, spent the New Year holidays in Waver ley, and were the guests of Air and Mrs W. J. Muir.
