DENTAL CLINIC. RAISING OF FUNDS. The work of erection of the new dental clinic at Patea is to commence shortly and the committee organising the citizens’ share of the scheme is working hard to secure the part of the funds to he raised by the town and district- Rev. C. Aker is the honorary secretary and he is having a busy time. GENERAL. The new library and Plunket rooms are showing good progress and will soon he well on the way to completion. They, with the new courthouse to be erected, will he decided acquisitions to the town. Captain Williams, who lias been in charge of the Patea corps of the Salvation Army, has been transferred to Marton. He will be replaced by Captain .1. Allot, of Taihape.
