WANGANUI, Dec. 21

Two youthful sand baggers who were before the Children’s Court this maiming admitted thefts of a quantity of Brass number plates, locks, etc., and also isandibagging two residents, stated it was their intention to get money!, but they were not successful. They had been reading traisbv literature relating to crimes. The magistrate, Mr J. H. Salmon, placed them under the care of the Welfare Officer for three years, and m(ad© it a condition that they were not to be out later than 8 o’clock. He also ordered that the literature they read should he controlled.
