PRINCE NOT TO INHABIT. COST OF f'PKF.EP TOO GREAT. LONDON, Aug. 28. The '•Daily News'’ .says the Prince of Wahs, has definitely decided not to move into his residence. Alarlhorough House, on The Alall, to which a. portion of his furniture lias been taken. The reluictance of His Royal Highness to occupv the house as a town residence if./ hugely due to the immense cost of the- unkeep, amounting, as it would, to at least £2OOO a. week. It is suggested that the great mansion' with, its freshly-painted wails, elaborate panelling and modernised garages, holding 50 limousine®, will, be used as a Government reception palace to entertain foreign visitors.
