PROBLEM BEING INVESTIGATED FIRST SECTION] OF REPORT PRESENTED. (By Telegraph—rresa Asaoclation. ' WELLINGTON, Aug. 31. The Minister .of Labour announces that the committee appointed by the Go'venunent to investigate conditions of unemployment and to make recommendations has now soi far completed it® work so as to be alble to- present to him to-day the first section of the report. The committee ■n-ill continue' its investigations and present further sectional reports as it finds itself in a. position to do so. The first report is on general lines and contains only two definite recommendations. Further reports . will all .be in the nature : of recommendations upon remedies to meet various aspects of the problem.
