CHANGE IN CONTROL DESIRED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) HAMILTON, Aug. 31. Commenting on the decision of the Racing Conference awarding the Labour Day date to the Waikato Hunt Club, Mr G.. W. Vercoe, president- of the Waikato Racing Club, which desired that date, said at the ‘annual mooting to-day: { ‘ I have lost faith in the administration of the New Zealand Racing Conference, and aim of the opinion that it is time the country racing clubs made some definite move in the direction of having more control in the 'conduct- of -their racing that at the present. With this end an view, it is my intention to call a meeting of the Auckland Provincial Racing Clubs Association to discuss the posiiton.”
