SYDNEY. Aug. 31. A tragedy attended a fishing expedition at Botany . Bay. Three fishermen were hurled into the' water when their boat struck a. sandbank.
George Baker, aged 53, who was unable to swim, was drowned. H.is two companions reached the shore exhausted after a two miles' swim through rough water. One had supported Baker for an hour, hut the ‘latter struggled free and disappeared.
