DARING BURGLARY.

HOTEL ROOMS ENTERED. Considerable daring was displayed by a young man of about 25 or -26 years of age who went through the looms of several guests at the E'gmont Hotel shortly before six o’clock this morning while the occupants were sleeping. In one, however, he awoke the occupant, and had to make a quick get-away, being chased down the hack stairs. He then disappeared, but- was sighted later by Constable Lcmm and the hotel proprietor and followed. In Little Regent Street, however, lie managed to tinally elude his pursuers. A subsequent search re* vealed that a small sum of money had been stolen.
