Thomson, chairman of the Hawera Main School Committee, at- the- monthly meeting of the committee last evening, and on the motion of Mr M. R. Jones, seconded by Mr M. A. Rowlands, the following resolution was adopted: “This committee draws the attention of the Education _ Department to the gross anomalies in capitation existing between primary, secondary and technical schools, and: urges the department to institute more eouitabie treatment of primary schools.”
