An astonishing case of forgetfulness was revealed- when a coffin containing the nwimified body of a, man was discovered in the corner of a cellar. A young Turkish student was. killed m a street in Berlin in June, 1915. The body was embalmed and ordered to be sent- home for infermenf, but the railway at Constantinople was momentarily monopolised with transport of troops. When facilities were restored the -address was lost- and the relations could not; be traced. Finally the coffin was forgotten until spring-cleaning revealed it.
