PUBLIC TRUST OFFICE.
TRANSFERS IN .STAFF MADE. (By Telegrapn—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Aug. 13. Tihe following staff changes in the Public- Trust Department are announced: — Mr A. S. Fa ire, District Public Trustee at Palmerston North, has been appointed to the position of District Public trustee at Auckland. Mr K. A. Henderson, District Public Trustee at Gisborne, has been appointed to the same position at Palmerston North. Owing to the retirement of the District Public Trustee at Napier, Mr S. \V. Smith, on superannuation, Air F. W. Browne, .assistant controller of the mortgage division at the head office, lias been appointed District Public Trustee -at Napier. Air D. Ferguson, -assistant solicitor to the mortgage division at head office, lias been appointed to the position of assistant controller of -t-ho mortgage division, vice Air F.' W. Browne. The Waipu'kurau office has been raised to the status of a district public trustee branch, and Mr A. 0. Williams, the district manager, has been 'promoted to ‘the position of District Public Trustee. The Hastings office has similarly been raised, and Air C. A. Hendry, assistant district public trustee and district solicitor at Master ton, has been appointed Distric. Public Trustee at Hastings.
Alt- N. F. Little, of the head office staff,, has been appointed legal clerk at Tiniaru. Air C. N. Irvine, Wanganui, has been appointed legal clerk at Whangarci. Mr D. R. Wood, of the head office, is to be legal clerk -at Hamilton, is transferred to the staff of the office of the -solicitor of the head office. Mr W. R. Alillier, district accountant and chief clerk at Nelson, is to' be assistant reviewing inspector with headquarters at Napier. Air D. Al. Eeklioff, assistant accountant at Christchurch, replaces Mr Aliller as district accountant at Nelson. Air H. E. J. Anderson, accountancy instructor of the training class at Christchurch, is transferred to -the staff of the chief accountant at the head office. Air T. E. F. Dobson, Auckland, is transferred to Christchurch in Air Anderson’s posit ion.
Following-on iho above appointments ami transfers there have boon several consequential .changes in both the head ’office and branches.
