PAXiL AT OPERA HOUSE TO-NIGHT Ea.st is East, bat the twain does meet in "Fa7.il.” Fox Fi'ims’ feature production which opens at the Hawera Opera House to-night-. But Kipling must halve been l ight in the first place, for thcv do not mix at all. Fazil is the name of an Arabian prince, impersonated by Charles FarrfU. GretaNissen plays the French girl who represents the 'West. Farrell excels hi® characterisations in “7th Heaven” and, “Street Angel,” as the handsome, arrogant Fazil. Miss Nissen is ravishing, and wears any number of dazzling gowns. The story is about a young sheik who rules his tribe with an iron hand and on a diplomatic trip to Paris: fals in lovo with and marries a Parisie-nnc. They dlash, however, for she will not be' ruled by the customs and traditions' of his peoi>le. This ’cads to many intensely dramatic scenes, the climax coming when her friends come to the prince’s pallaec to help her escape. The ending is as unexpected as it is thrilling. “’Fazil” is recommended by the censor as more suitable for adult audiences. The box plan is at Miss Brake’s sweet shop.
