I’la-re was a large -bench of prospective -buyers at the liawora salo.vards of the Farmers’ Co-op. lio-day for the ordinary sale list, coupled with about 250 head of dairy cattle which included 100 two-year-old Jersey in-calf heifers, the annual draft from Air ,S. 0. Tonic's farm and 100 dairy cows vm account, of Air F. Reardon.
Prices were good, proving the market and the demand is likely to In very good this year.
At the time of going to press Air Tonks’s heifers had found ready buyers at good prices. Alost 'of them started nt about £l.l and advanced rapidly up to about £ls or £lO. The average would work our probably at between £l3 and £l4.
