Good support was accorded a sheepguessing competition at the A. and P. gymkhana yesterday, the winner proving to 1)0 Mr H. Slater (Hawera) with 213Hb, half a pound more than the correct, weight. Second place went to Air A. G. Paterson ("213}11>). while Messrs O. Robertson and B. Bone (2121 b) tied for third, a ballot resulting in favour of All- Robertson. At the recent elocution examinations held at Unworn Misses Aileen Brough and Dorothy 'Clement completed their A.T.C.L. degree.
